Delicious Living magazine, a New Hope Natural Media publication, has signed on as a title sponsor of the Conscious Goods Alliance 2007 Veggie Bus Tour, designed to allow consumers to experience and learn about natural products and sustainability.
Beginning at the Natural Products Expo West trade show in Anaheim, Calif., next week the Veggie Bus will travel the country stopping at more than 200 retailers, as well as universities, schools, farmers’ markets and community festivals.
It will visit more than 50 cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas and Phoenix.
"The Veggie Bus is an extension of our mission to educate consumers about healthy, conscious lifestyle choices," said Mauricio Lluch, group publisher of Delicious Living. "This is a great venture for our publication as our message will reach well beyond the 1 million readers we already serve."
The Veggie Bus, a reconditioned 1984 Van Hool Tour Coach, is a mobile home, traveling office and recycled showroom for a range of natural products, converted to run on recycled vegetable oil. Its redesigned interior uses green and recycled materials such as bamboo siding, palm wood flooring and hemp cushions. A large skylight provides solar energy.
