Natural, organic products trade shows recognized for growth

New Hope Media keeps pulling in the business while Chicago's All Things Organic thrives

Mirroring the explosive growth of the natural and organic industry Natural Products Expo West/SupplyExpo was recognized as one of the top 50 fastest-growing trade shows in North America.

Tradeshow Week bestowed the honor on the trade show produced by Boulder, Colo., -based New Hope Natural Media, a division of Penton Media, a diversified business-to-business media company.

Also recognized as one of the top 50 fastest-growing trade shows in North America was the All Things Organic Conference & Tradeshow held in Chicago in May.

Tradeshow Week reviews the performance of all trade shows in the United States and Canada each year, and provides special recognition to shows that experienced the greatest increase in net square footage over the preceding three years.

Last year, Natural Products Expo West/SupplyExpo hosted over 1,700 exhibitors and 43,000 attendees. The top 50 fastest-growing shows will be honored during a celebration in Boston on November 10-12.

"We’re thrilled with these results," said Sandy Voss, trade show director for New Hope Natural Media. "For the past 25 years, New Hope’s mission has been to provide and improve the platforms of trade for the natural, organic and healthy products industry by serving all sectors, from supplier to manufacturer."

The Tradeshow Week top 50 shows are based on growth for the years 2003-2005.

The 21st Annual Natural Products Expo West/SupplyExpo will take place March 8-11 in Anaheim, Calif. Natural Products Expo West’s sister trade show, Natural Products Expo East 2006 — the largest natural and organic products show on the East Coast — will feature more than 1,100 exhibitors in Baltimore, Md., on October 5-7.
