Whole Foods Market wraps, salad bar items recalled over health risk

Recalled products were sold at Whole Foods Market stores in 3 states

Houston, Texas-based refrigerated food manufacturer GHSW, LLC is recalling certain salads, wraps and salad bar items sold at Whole Foods Markets in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, as well as two Whole Foods Markets 365 in Texas, because the product labels fail to declare soy as an ingredient in the mayonnaise used to manufacture the products.

That means people who are allergic to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the products, which were labeled as Whole Foods Market or Whole Foods Market 365.

Some of the labels, however, state that the products “may contain soy.” No reports of illnesses or injury have been received to date.
